Envex manage projects to recognised international standards. Our consultants and managers are professionally trained and competent with US, UK and Australian standards and are Registered Asbestos Consultants with the Hong Kong Environmental Protection Department (EPD).

Envex have been responsible for managing complex asbestos abatement projects in mainland China: examples are on offshore oil exploration platforms for BP (China) in Zhanjiang, Guangdong; on large bulk cargo ships for Cosco Shipyards (Nantong); and in Hong Kong for both the railway systems companies.

Compilation of comprehensive survey tender specifications

Probably the most important part of your asbestos management, if the specification of your surveys is wrong it will not be easy to decipher the information. Many businesses have learnt this, and to rectify it can be expensive which can include a re-survey of their buildings. Good specific tender documentation with a definitive scope of works eliminates this.

Survey Auditing Data Verification

Envex can ensure that the surveys being carried out on your properties are in a format that fits in with your requirements, meets the EPD regulations, and are as per the scope of works. The information collected and given to you as part of the survey process will be concise and accurate.

Project Management

Once ACM's have been identified, you may need to undertake remedial or removal works. Asbestos works are often disruptive, complicated and expensive. We can write tender specifications, and ensure that at all times the project is on time, compliant, meets all the regulations and causes the minimum of disruption.

Policies & Procedures

This is the document that is the basis of your business asbestos management. It will specify how your company will address every aspect of asbestos management. It will contain specific instructions on the procedures relating to asbestos issues. It is a requirement from the EPD.

Training

Everyone who is liable to come into contact with ACM's (Asbestos Containing Materials) should have a level of understanding of the issues involved. This understanding needs to reflect any likelihood of the disturbing of ACM's. Training is designed to suite your companies specific requirements and budgets.
